The SIG:Assessment brings together faculty, researchers, and students on campus and throughout the Bay Area who work on practical ways to evaluate new instructional methods. Each meeting begins with a brief presentation on valid assessment methods. Then SIG participants discuss specific assessment issues faced by members of the group. The SIG:Assessment is directed by Dan Schwartz, professor of education, and meets on the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings will resume again in October 2003.
