In memory of Mike Armstrong

Mike was hired in February of 1997 as
a Fire Extinguisher Technician here at
Stanford. In April of 1998 he started
his training to become a Fire
Sprinkler Technician.
He worked as a Fire Sprinkler
Technician until May of 2001 when he
was given the opportunity to train as
a Fire Alarm Technician. Mike
completed the training and went on to
work as a Fire Alarm Technician until
his sudden passing in December of
2015.
He was the only person to have held
all 3 technician positions here at the
Fire Marshal’s Office. Mike was a
long-standing member of the Stanford
Environmental Health & Safety family
and will be missed.
