In memory of Joseph Pellow

Joseph Pellow

Joe Pellow passed away this past week at
home. Joe has been a valued member of the
DAPER staff since 2009. For those of you
who you knew Joe well you know that he was
an amazing story teller, and had a wealth of
life experience as inspiration for his colorful
stories. Joe spent years as a Bay Area
helicopter traffic reporter, was a former semi-
professional hockey player, an accomplished
drummer, a jazz aficionado a
cinematographer who did filming in the
Serengeti, a photographer, a book and short
story author, and for the last decade of his
life enriched those associated with the
Recreation and Wellness group with his
unbridled passion for Stanford.

His passing is a tremendous loss to our
department and to all of us who knew him
personally.
