Profile:
Sept. 2005: Aron is an outstanding player, having played during high school in Memphis, and the '98-99 season with the U. of Kansas Jayhawks. After putting his nose to the grad-school grindstone at UC Irvine for his PhD, he has come to Stanford as a post-doc. Rust and all, he's already one of the top players, and a likely suspect to finish the season at the top of the club ladder. Aron is already making waves with his teachings that improvement comes from practice and hard work. 'Aron is a really really solid player with extremely smooth strokes. It's going to take quite a bit for me to be able to beat him, more than just me serving well. He's also really long and quick so he can get to just anything thats slightly left up. Right now I don't think there is a question of whether or not he is a better player than I. But I think if i keep on training, I could catch up.' -- a club player we shall call 'Q' to protect his anonymity.
