    The WAIS Board is normally seldom called on, but it has an important responsibility. The primary mission of WAIS is a running exchange of information and opinions among people of different nationality, politics and culture. Bill Ratliff is acting President. John Eipper is now WAIS Editor-in-Chief. The other members have been selected with a view to maintaining subject, geographical and ideological balance. More members may be added.
