Synpaedia | Main / Dead Houses

Landlorded by Rob Levitsky, the Dead Houses are houses scattered throughout downtown Palo Alto where Stanford students and alums can escape on-campus life in an affordable and laid-back way.

Each house is named for a Grateful Dead song:

Franklin's Tower -- aka FrankTow aka THE PREMIER DESTINATION FOR EX-SYNNERS AKA OH GOD WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO WE ARE FLOATING IN AN ABSURD POST SYNERGY WORLD
Box of Rain (a.k.a. Box) Epicenter of Deadhouse food-snobbery and ex-KM haven. Prolific garden. Backdrop for inebriated porch shenanigans.

Touch of Grey ? (a.k.a. ToG) -- Chelsea Clinton came here a lot to visit friends. Near the front door is a picture of Rob with her and her parents.
