Thirty-five years later, it's still going strong.

The Reunion/Anniversary festivities will coincide with
Stanford Alumni Homecoming weekend, October 11 - 14, 2007.

Please come and bring your stories, photos, videos and appetites.
Reunite with old friends and rekindle the Synergy Spirit.
And please spread the word to all past Synergy community members
you might know how to contact. Let's have Synergites from all 35 years
in attendance!

Things to do in preparation for the Reunion

1. announce the reunion on the Syn-Alums email list
2. form an organizing committee
3. build Syn Alumni Directory for inviting people:

UPDATE: SAA has now provided a list that purports to be a current address and email list for all Synergy residents from 72-present. I have it and can circulate it. There are 649 names on it. Should a volunteer create an evite from the list? I think we should use that list and the Syn-alums list to publicize. We also have snail mail addresses and will get mailing labels. We need to set time(s) and decide on format/agenda etc. to be included in the notice, at least generally, with details to be added later. SAA suggests we use the post-game time of 5-830 PM on Sat Oct 13 to have the mini reunion. We could use most or all of that time as party, with breakout discussion/performance/presentations as noted below. Is the house big enough to accommodate all of that at the same time? Other times things could happen are Friday night or Sunday brunch. -- Helen Boyer

Ideas for things to happen at the Reunion

• Make a film, interview people to hear their stories
• Showcase the House Journal Archive -- gather annotations to put the history in context
• Alternative Careers speaker series
• spaces/places for people to publicly talk about stuff - like workshops, slideshows, stories about their lives.
• theme-circles - where you talk about specific issues (like co-operative living after Stanford, alternative careers, traveling, etc.)
• Music performances, drum circles, folk music circles . . .
• A party
• Reminisce over old photos (that YOU bring)
