Sometime around the start of 2005, it was proposed that Synergy should start a Eugenics project to streamline the characteristics that make a good Synner.

Not a basis for genetic discrimination, it was instead presented as simply a smarter and more efficient way of family planning. If everyone could reach consensus on the couples that would fornicate and produce offspring, it would ensure the most peaceful and functional atmosphere for our cooperative way of life.

There is earlier precedent for Synergy Eugenics. In 1981-1982, Greg Nelson ( blonde, green eyes) and Gina Sanders Nelson ( brown hair, brown eyes) , both of Synergy ( the old house) decided to cross organic Jewish girl science nerd with shy Montana mountain climber. The F1 is as follows:

1. 23 year old nature girl- blonde ahir green eyes, river guide, belly dancer, black belt, stream biologist horsewoman, named Echo

2. 17 year old opinionated boy inventer, blonde hair, brown eyes, black belt, freestyle skier iconoclast, named Forest

3. 13 year old animal lover, brown hair, blue eyes, computer gamer, fantasy reader, student of nature, named Vale

This F1 is complete. There are currently no suitable crosses for an F2.

(They named their children Echo, Forest, and Vale? For serious? Really?) (Of course! Synergy was started by ACTUAL hippies, not hipsters who think they're all cool and shit by being grungy and eco-friendly, then name their kids John and Marshall and Mary.)
