The tournament was a great experience- good judges, good competition, good food. All parliers who want a great weekend of debate should definitely apply next year.

yeah, I concur. the tournament was really good- the competition, food, experience, and set-up were all superb. I'm still a little shocked about that quarters round... we really need to get the judges on the same page for next year. When you pick up the college debater, and drop the two judges who either leave a ballot blank (with no oral critique or flow) or intervene, you get a little angry. It doesn't really matter though, but I would rather have been the team to lose to lynbrook in Semis, not arbitrarily win a round, but lose the ballots. Our two rounds against Sprague GH were not pretty. If this weren't a public board a I might go into more detail. Congrats to both the other Sprague team, the excellent Canadian speakers, and of course Lynbrook. We'll see you all next year. And what the hell am I going to do with the 2.5 months before Stanford debate camp? Summer tournament anyone? (Only half joking)
