Thank you for your interest in Side by Side!
We like to keep our auditions really low key, so don't be nervous.

• Please bring a 45 second to 1 minute excerpt of a song that you can sing a capella. (If you need a starting note, we will have a piano.) Don't stress about choosing a song; we just wanna hear your voice! Past audition songs have ranged from pop hits by Olivia Rodrigo to classic tunes like Happy Birthday, so just sing what's most comfortable for you and have fun with it! In addition to your own song, we'll play a few scales and chords for you to sing back to us, and we'll ask you to clap a couple rhythms.
  
  If you are auditioning as a pianist, we'd like to hear you play a couple minutes of a song you know well, and we'll also ask you to sight-read one of our favorites from last year. (Don't worry - we don't expect it to be perfect by any means!)
  
  
• If you can play an instrument or do other cool things, tell us! We're interested!

Sign up for an available audition time below! Auditions will take place at Lagunita Housing Front Desk. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled slot to fill out a short questionnaire that will help us get to know you.
